Going Fishing

Steve loves to go fishing, so while my mom and dad were here he wanted to take them out. Here's a couple of shots of their pre-fishing trip. Our boat is on the right, the one with the small enclosed cabin. Down the dock a ways you can see my mom and Ben walking towards the boat. It was cold and a bit damp but that is a typical Sitka day. They didn't get any fish but had a nice time just cruising around.

Eagles

Ah, the majestic Eagle. You can tell an Eagle by it's tall stature and it's brilliant white head. Here are a couple of shots of Eagles. But, don't be fooled, in the foreground of one of the shots the tall creature with the brilliant white head is actually my dad.

Oscar & Felix go fishing

We went fishing yesterday and decided to take Oscar. Felix was very upset when he saw us all going out the door with fishing poles. My dad had used a fishing pole with toilet paper tied to the end to tease Felix. So when we headed out the door with his new toy, he was very peeved. Steve and I decided that we would take him on the boat too, who knows, maybe he would like it.

Felix didn't mind the boat but he hated the engine. Loud mechanical noises are not his thing and he hid in the cabin until we anchored. While we anchored he began to relax a bit but he never really enjoyed the boat.

When we reached the dock both Felix and Oscar were beat. He's a couple of shots of them ready to get off the boat and go home.
